It’s no coincidence that some of the best island retreats are found by divers. They search for the best underwater experiences, which often go hand in hand with an accompanying island paradise on the surface - like Roatan.

The coral reef surrounding Roatan is part of the Mesoamerican Reef - the largest coral reef system in the Western Hemisphere, the second largest in the world, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In waters that average 60-100 feet of visibility, you’ll find some of the most abundant and diverse marine species in the Caribbean, including sea turtles, eagle rays and vibrant tropical fish. With an average water temperature of 78-84 F, why wouldn’t you want to jump right in?

Our location on West Bay Beach is part of the Sandy Bay-West End Marine Reserve, home to 38 world-class dive sites. This proximity to incredible Roatan diving, combined with our resort’s soon-to-be-opened PADI Certified dive shop, will make getting into the water as easy as it is to get to.  As the island’s azure waters beckon, all it takes is a few steps to reach our private boat dock before you’ll be off exploring the wondrous underwater worlds and spectacular array of marine life that surround Roatan, at dive sites maintained and protected by the Roatan Marine Park.
