Exotic Half & Full Day ‘Discover Roatan’ Tours

Nothing enhances Roatan vacations like discovering the beauty and culture of the island with one of our Island Tours. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning vistas of Roatan beaches from the highest points of the island, as well as taking in the daily life of island villages.

Full Day Island Tour

Come and discover the exotic island of Roatan, an old refuge of pirates.

Our first stop is Gumbalimba Park, where you can interact with macaws and monkeys, discover island history, stroll amongst native vegetation, walk the park’s Roatan beach, and purchase local crafts.

Our expedition continues through Coxen Hole, the island’s main town, where you will visit the local market. We then continue to the Iguana Farm, home to nearly 3000 iguanas, and a must stop for Roatan vacations.

Enjoy lunch, a delicious combination of shellfish accompanied by a glass of wine, at Casa Romeo’s Restaurant overlooking picturesque French Harbor.

Our last stop is the community of West End, known as the Live Zone of the island. There you will find bars, restaurants and souvenirs.

Half Day Island Tour

Our Half Day Tour begins with a visit to the Iguana Farm home to nearly 3000 iguanas and a must stop for Roatan vacations. We will continue to Coxen Hole, Roatan’s main town, where we’ll visit the local market. The tour finishes with a visit to Gumbalimba Park, with parrots, macaws, monkeys, lush native plants, island history exhibits, local crafts and a beautiful Roatan beach.

Includes: land transportation, entrance to Gumbalimba Park and Iguana Farm.

Mangroves Tour

This tour takes you to the eastern part of Roatan to discover the mangrove coast of Oak Ridge and Jonesville. We will use small gas-powered canoes to cross the channels and explore the mangrove swamps and marine ecosystems of Roatan beaches.

We will visit the Hole in the Wall, a Roatan beach bar located on the water and run by an old sailor named Bob.

On our return route, we will pass through a Garifuna community. The Garifuna are descendents of African slaves and Arawak Indians, and their culture is protected by UNESCO.
