Pico Bonito Nature Hike Tour

Our Roatan Resort's Nature Hike Through Exotic Forests

Our Tour begins with a ferry ride to the mainland. Pico Bonito National Park is one of Honduras’ beautiful protected areas and just 45 minutes away from downtown La Ceiba. It is one of the largest national parks in the country, covering an area of 1073 square kilometers.

Here, you will enjoy a hiking tour through the park’s habitats which vary from tropical rain forest, broad leaf forest and cloud forest. These diverse environments are home to a wide variety of wildlife and an excellent opportunity for nature viewing during your Roatan vacation. The park is home to over 300 species of birds, as well as jaguars, tapirs, armadillos, wild pigs, river otters, deer, puma, white-faced and spider monkeys.

The Pico Bonito River and Sirena waterfalls offer refreshing swimming opportunities during your Roatan tour. After lunch we will visit the park’s Butterfly House and Serpentarium, where we will finish our tour.

Return to Roatan and Infinity Bay the same day by air.
