Scuba Diving and Snorkeling

Some of the world's best diving surrounds Roatan and the Bay Islands, Honduras and is found only minutes from Infinity Bay.

Over 50 dive sites, characterized by spectacular crevices and tunnels opening to breathtaking walls, offer excellent visibility, abundant fish and brilliant corals. Most sites are within 10-20 minutes, and good diving is accessible approximately 40 yards from the beach.

Roatan scuba diving water temperatures range from the low 80F in summer and high 70F in winter. Although visibility can peak at 100 feet or more, expect an average of 80 feet, unless storms or plankton cloud the water.

Diving around Roatan and the Bay Islands, Honduras is excellent because the islands are surrounded by a barrier reef and some of the most species-rich marine habitat in the world.

Snorkeling

Considered one of the most beautiful places in the Caribbean, Roatan's coral reef is part of the second largest reef in the world. For diving lovers, this is the perfect place to marvel at the incredible natural landscape and varied wildlife that lies below the surface of the sea. And for those wishing to learn this sport, this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity.

Because the reef is only 50 feet from our shoreline in front of the resort, it is an excellent snorkeling location as well. Guests need only swim out a few minutes to reach the reef and enjoy an experience usually reserved just for divers.
