Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort

March is here and Spring at Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort is just around the corner. We have much of the Roofing Tile on site, and have begun clearing for the pool areas. Every building has the Columns up to the top of the Third Floor, with only a few more finishing touches before all are completed. The Underground crews are working to complete their tasks so we can start pouring the outside walkways by next month. Within the next 45 days the purified drinking water system, which includes the reverse osmosis, will start taking shape. Looking ahead - our architect has been working on preliminary drawings for both the Palapa swim-up bar and our main reception/restaurant/health gym/conference building. The Palapa will begin soon and hopefully be completed before the end of July along with the resort's pools.

February/March 2007 has been very good for sales. We currently have eight pending sales, leaving only eight remaining Condo/Villas in Phase I. Our current plan is to open Phase II for sales sometime in April. This plan calls for a price increase on the remaining Phase I units, so if you or a friend are considering purchasing a villa, this is the time.

The Roatan building department reports some 600 condo starts are in process at this time. Without question, Infinity Bay has the best location, the best quality and the best sales of all of those!

A new gas station at the entrance to West End will be open for business soon and this will provide a great convenience to our owners and guests. There are also a number of new shops and eateries around the island, which definitely adds interest. Cruise ships are dropping anchor regularly and tourist taxis and buses are scurrying all about the island. The duty free zone is still on schedule to be in effect by May 2007.

The U.S government announced that Honduras registered a surplus of $25 Million in the commerce of goods and services with the United States in 2006. The commercial surplus of Latin American and the Caribbean with the United States grew 11 percent in 2006.

All of this news is positive and creates a sense of investment security when looking at how Infinity Spa & Beach Resort.

Infinity Bay Resort will have a water taxi service as one of the amenities. We have contracted with a very good local boat builder to build our water taxi, which will provide seating for 10 to 12 individuals. This is a much needed service for transporting our owners and guests. The plan is for the water taxi service to be on a regular time schedule when traveling between West Bay Beach and West End.

It is wonderful to see how we are all working for the same goal of a premier resort on Roatan, which Infinity Spa & Beach Resort will be.
