Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort

It's already April and Spring has arrived at Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort. We have just started on the interiors with sheet rock and texturing taking place in the villas. It was our choice to bring a professional from the United States to make sure that our interiors will be of excellent quality. With the high ceilings and beautifully textured and accented walls, each villa will be spectacular.

The pool area is going to look fantastic. The process has begun with our pool contractor laying out, digging and setting up the parameters. As you know, we are having swim up seating to the Palapa Bar, and of course we can't live without an "Infinity Edge"! The new Palapa Bar is being designed by our architect in Honduras and it is a priority to have the pools completed by mid-July.

Our Travertine tile installation crew is coming in to start the floor preparation for laying tile this month. The underground utilities should be completed in the next 30 days. The cabinet maker is almost finished with our beautiful Honduran Cedar Wood kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Hopefully, installation of the cabinets will start sometime in late May.

Carnival Cruise Ship Lines held another ribbon cutting ceremony inaugurating the beginning of their plans for a substantial installation near Coral Caye on Roatan. Italian charter company Club Panorama will open a second flight between Italy and Roatan in December of this year. This news was announced by the Honduran Minister of Tourism, Ricardo Martinez, in March. Club Panorama already has a weekly flight between Milan and Roatan, which will now be followed by a direct flight from Rome.

The Honduras government announced it is electing to invest 11 billion Lempiras ($58 Million U.S.) for improving the Honduran investment climate, said the Minster of Finance, Rebecca Santos. Honduras knows the importance of making infrastructure improvements to attract more tourism. Also, Delta Airlines is looking into the possibility of introducing a direct flight between Tegucigalpa and Atlanta. Since these flights began a year ago to Roatan and San Pedro, Delta reports more than 32,000 passengers on those flights.

Infinity Bay Resort had a great sales month in March with 10 Condo/Villas sold. We are on a good pace now and have the sales staff to make April just as rewarding. As of this newsletter, we have only one remaining villa available in Phase I.

Infinity Bay Resort has kicked-off Phase II with an exciting offer of only $10,000 down with a favorable progress payment schedule as the villas are being completed. We think this offer will be very attractive to new buyers and already one of the current Infinity family Phase I owners has purchased a second villa in Phase II. With Phase II all second floors have a major change in price and look. These second floor units will consist of a 1,113 sq. ft., two bedroom at $349,000; an 847 sq. ft one bedroom for $269,000; and a new look 636 sq. ft. studio for $205,000.
