Phase II is Rockin!! Our contractor is currently ahead of schedule, which means our Phase II buyers should be able to start seeing actual buildings going up in the next month. We are already on the second floor on the South side (buildings 6 though 9) and should be on the North side real soon (buildings 15 through 20). We are very pleased with the pace and the quality of construction on this second phase and we also appreciate the effort that has been made to minimize the noise for our resort guests.

The new Palapa swim up bar is a hit. Yeah, some of the old timers still reminisce about the good ole days at the old Palapa and rightfully so, but we have been having some very good times at the swim-up Palapa bar, with music, dancing, sitting on your favorite pool chair, and having a nice cold beverage (or Dos which sometime leads to Tres). Also kids are having a ball in the pool, with the waterfall bridge, and oodles of space — it's turned out to be a fun time for everyone. To our Canadian buyers and guests we now have hockey in the Caribbean (TV hockey).

The new kitchen will be completed in the next two weeks. We will be making some trial runs, and then fully transition over. This means within 30 days we maybe having an Old Palapa goodbye party, which will in turn bring some additional beautiful views of our fabulous beach front property, more places to lounge, eat, drink and watch the colorful sunsets.

We had full occupancy during Semana Santa and this weekend Infinity Bay Resort will be full again. Two events are bringing in many new guests. The Roatan Sixth Annual Triathlon on May 4th and the Cigar convention during this same weekend. Not sure if anyone will be participating in both, but seeing Infinity Bay Resort full is great exposure and the resort as a whole will benefit in gaining occupancy momentum for now and the future.

Implementation of on-line IRM (Internet Reservation Module) is just around the corner. We will be soon be sending Phase I owners their passwords for linking from the front page of the web site to see how their Condo is doing, making reservations online, and checking occupancy from prior months and current confirmations. The next step is having future guests book online from our website, which we anticipate having live within a couple of weeks.
