Scuba Diving & Snorkeling
Some of the world's best diving is found only minutes from the resort. Over 50 dive sites, characterized by spectacular crevices and
tunnels opening to breathtaking walls, offer excellent visibility, abundant fish and brilliant corals. Most sites are within 10-20
minutes, and good diving is accessible approximately 40 yards from the beach. From the resort we offer dive services from our dock.
Our dive services offer a large selection of equipment for rental, resort courses and certification courses are available. Expect
water temperatures in the low 80F in summer and high 70F in winter. Although visibility can peak at 100 feet or more, expect an
average of 80 feet, unless when storms or plankton cloud the water.
Snorkeling
Considered one of the most beautiful places in the Caribbean, Roatan's coral reef is part of the second largest reef in the world.
For diving lovers, this is the perfect place to marvel at the incredible natural landscape and varied wildlife that lies below the
surface of the sea. And for those wishing to learn this sport, this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity. The reef is only 50 feet from
our shoreline in front of the resort.
