What is our first step?

We offer ceremonies on the beach or by the pool area. After deciding on a time frame, contact the Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort Event Department to check on the availability. Once the date and time have been established for your Roatán Island wedding, we will send you a contract outlining the wedding services selected. We require a 50% deposit that will secure the date, time and location.

How far in advance do we need to book?

We encourage you to book as soon as possible. Most Roatán Island weddings are booked six months to one year in advance of the ceremony. The sooner you know your date, the greater your chance of securing it at Infinity Bay.

When do we need to make our guest room reservations?

Due to the popularity of the Resort, couples are advised to make room reservations before confirming the date of their wedding. You may contact our reservations department through the wedding coordinator at 1-833-588-4229 or email us at this email address: reservations@infinitybay.com.

How do we contact someone about booking our wedding or reception?

In order to better serve you, our Event Department asks that you fill out the request form for Information. When it is completed click, ‘Submit.’ Upon receipt of your complete form, the information will be reviewed. A wedding specialist from our Event Department will be assigned to you and contact you directly with the information you have provided on the form. What services does the wedding specialist provide?

The wedding specialist that is assigned to your event will work with you to see through every step of the planning process. Together, you will determine and design what type of flowers, music, photographer, videographer and clergy member you would like for your ceremony.

How do we obtain a Honduran Marriage License?

To be married in Roatán, you must apply for a marriage license in Roatán. The Marriage License Office’s hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (On Saturday and Sunday, they are closed). The fee for a marriage license is $140, cash only. Your wedding specialist will be happy to assist in making your appointment.

To apply for your marriage license, you will need the following:

Both people must present their single status certificate
Birth paper certificate
Passport and ID
AIDS test
Two witnesses

Appointments should be made for the day after you arrive on the island. (Don’t forget to bring your marriage license to the ceremony!)

Do we need to bring our own wedding attire?

It is recommended that the bridal couple bring their own wedding gown and tuxedo or have it shipped to the resort in advance. Our laundry staff can assist with any steaming or pressing of the wedding parties’ attire as well. Please request this service at least 24 hours prior to the ceremony. There are no shops on Roatán that carry wedding gowns, formal or informal gowns that are appropriate for weddings.

What is your payment schedule?

In order to confirm a date and time, a deposit of 50% of the total package price, along with your signed confirmation letter, is required at the time of booking your Roatán Island wedding. The complete remaining balance is due 30 days before the event. All major credit cards are accepted for payment.

Do we get a discount on rooms?

Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort will offer group discounts for your wedding. Please discuss details about discounts and incentives with your wedding planner.

For your meal, choose between a traditional sit-down dinner or a buffet-style meal. You pick your price point and select your preferred items within it. Start your guests off with a bowl of coconut conch soup or ceviche. Then, how about a grilled lobster tail or filet mignon? That’s just a taste of the wide range of options we offer. Alternatively, you can work with our team of culinary experts to further customize your menu.

Your wedding celebration can begin as soon as you arrive at Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort. Throw your guests a welcome party, or gather everyone for a rehearsal dinner. These events are completely customized by our coordinator to be an event that’s unique to you, the couple!

Post-Ceremony Cocktail Hour

Adding a cocktail hour after your ceremony will give your guests time to socialize before dinner. We have a wide selection of hors d’oeuvres for your guests to enjoy while you—the bride and groom—are off getting wedding photos done.

The Party

Like your dinner, your party can be held in one of our sophisticated conference rooms, outdoors next to the infinity pool or garden, or stay on the beach! Party alongside the rolling tide with your toes in the sand and a drink in your hand. Wherever you are, make sure your family and friends are ready to dance. Let our live band lure you and your guests onto the floor, or we can lend you our in-house DJ to set the soundtrack for the evening.
