Should you want to venture from your chaise lounge on West Bay Beach, there are many things to do around Roatán. Roatán is the largest of the Bay Islands, measuring almost 40 miles in length with a landmass of 49 square miles. The island has a mountainous backbone and is surrounded by coral reefs. Roatán in the Bay Islands enjoys year-round temperatures of 27°C (80°F) and features white-sand beaches, lush valleys, a low cost of living, a safe environment and friendly locals.

One of the oldest communities in Roatán, you’ll find shops, schools and bars and restaurants in French Harbor. The Bay Islands’ only golf course, the Black Pearl, is also located in French Harbor at Pristine Bay as well as Sherman Arch’s Iguana Farm where you can feed the prehistoric creatures.
