Great Staff, great beach and rooms too!

This was our 2nd year in a row at Infinity Bay. We enjoyed both visits very much. This year we were in the 800 building which is almost the farthest from the beach, but it did not matter. The walk is only 3 minutes or so to the beach. Our room was a 2 bedroom suite. It was just my wife and I and we more than enough room. I liked that we each had our bathroom. The kitchen and living area were up to date and spacious. We had 1 large balcony and 1 small balcony. We used the lesser known concierge service to deliver groceries that were in our room waiting when we arrived. This service is something I don't recommend. We did'nt know the prices up front and they were extremely high. Also the produce was quite below par. At this point I should say that our package included breakfast only. Which was....ok. We would just make sandwiches and stuff most days to eat and then go to 1 of the many restaurants down the beach...very easy walk with some great places to eat. You can also take a short water taxi ride over to west end where there are many more choices of restaurants as well. Water taxi is something like $3-$5 per person each way. Most of our entertainment consisted of diving and that is very good no matter if you book through Infinity Bay Divers or other. Infinity Bay brings all your stuff down and its already on the boat when you arrive. They also take it back to the dive shop and clean and store it for the duration of your trip. However, their dive boats (which are pretty nice) tend to have alot of divers. (Enough said). If you are a golfer, there is a brand new 9 hole par 3 course so close that you are picked up in a golf cart The course is called The Black Iguana and it's on TA. It's worth checking out if only for a few crazy picturesque holes. Activities coordinators at Infinity Bay....2 AWESOME GUYS...Joel and Derald. I cannot say enough about these guys. They are very friendly, honest and genuinely care about the guests. My wife wanted to go see sloths and monkeys, I asked these guys and told them that we wanted to go in the morning, not get on a tour bus, and not stop at the island's "largest ball of string", etc. Joel set up a private driver, Derald was waiting for us when we went outside of the front of the resort and told us the driver was on the way (while engaging us in friendly conversation and laughter). In maybe 5 minutes the van showed up and we were on our way. Half way there, the drivers phone rang. The driver handed me his phone... it was Joel checking to make sure everything was as expected! WOW! I was pretty impressed. The trip was great and we made it back quickly without delay, nor any detours. However the driver did ask if there was anywhere else we'd like him to take us. I was quite impressed with that service.
We've traveled to many different places. Hopefully we can go back to Infinity Bay soon. ( Hopefully we all can travel again soon!)

Infinity Bay ROATAN

This was my first time ever going to an all inclusive resort. The food was awesome complements to all the kitchen staff especially Chef Walmon Cooper! This guy is always smiling!
The amazing bar staff lead by Mr Carlos Sterhany. This guy knows how to entertain a crowd or simply make every single guest feel right at home. I dont no how he multitasks so well taking multiple orders and slamming out so many amazing drinks promptly all at once! Pure skill!!
The snorkeling right off the beach was unreal.... so much to see.. one week wasnt enough!
Cant wait to head back.....

Cheers.

I LOVE ROATAN!

We stayed here the last week of January this year (family with 4 adults and 1 child). I didn't even know Honduras has an Island called Roatan? We discovered it on HGTV's "Carribean Life"!

BEACH - soft sand, beautiful clear water, BEST snorkeling in the Carribean Sea EVER, snorkeling available out front of this resort, lots to see (rainbow parrot fish, angel fish, needlefish, blue tang, porcupine fish and a southern stingray!). There was sun and shade available. The beach is about a 2km stretch. Luckily, no bugs on the beach. My new FAVOURITE beach! Lots of beach vendors canvassing for business (fishing tours/sloth and monkey tours/water taxi/clothing/hair braiding etc.) They were understanding if you told them thank you, but no thank you. We did end up purchasing some Roatan water shirts for a good price (a little bartering will help).

RESORT - nicely appointment accommodation, although the sleeper sofa needed updating. Grounds were nicely maintained, crossed paths with numerous lizards and a few agoutis. Pool was great for the days when it rained (2-3 days). Elevators are available, handy for the luggage and/or if stairs are not your friend.

FOOD - our stay included the all inclusive package booked with West Jet. The International Buffet had lots to offer. A tasty breakfast buffet which included hot and cold options. For dinner, the Buffet had a Theme Night. Monday (Hondurian), Tuesday (Italian) , Wednesday (Asian), Thrusday (Mexican) , Friday (Carribean), Saturday (French) and Sunday (American BBQ). The La Palapa Grill and Beach (located on the beachfront) had a great menu which we were able to have 2 reservations per week with our stay. This offered a 3 course meal (appetizer, main and dessert). We enjoyed all the foodies at this resort along with all their drinks, cheers!

ACTIVITIES - no activities/entertainment on this resort, came across singers during evenings on the beach front at La Palap Grill and Beach. We were okay with this, we have many places where it is the complete opposite! A quiet and relaxing resort. There were Activity Coordinators on site; offered various off resort activities/tours/excursions. We enjoyed a tour to the Rum and Chocolate Factory and saw some sloths and monkeys (this tour was about 2.5 hours). Another day, we took a water taxi into West End, and walked the streets and shopped in town, checked out a local grocery store and viewed other resorts etc. This is the first place we've traveled to the Carribean and felt safe to go into town and tour the sites. There was presence of the local police on the resort, the beach and in West End.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort. We definitely recommend this resort if you want beautiful clear water for snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. We look forward to returning to this beautiful island as soon as we can!

Spent a fabulous day at Infinity Bay

We visited Infinity Bay for a day trip from our cruise ship. The service was absolutely amazing. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and comfortable, while respecting the space of the hotel guests. Joel and Derald made sure we had chairs, helped by their staff Carlos and Luis. They really could not have been nicer!!! And lunch at the beach restaurant was absolutely delicious. The menu was quite extensive and everything we ordered came out just perfect! But, the best part of our lunch experience was Sindy, our server. She was very helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with! The beach area is quite nice with the water taxi stop conveniently located right by the hotel. The water was crystal clear for swimming with a reef just offshore for snorkeling. And lastly, the infinity pool was beautiful and well maintained. Overall a true 5 star experience. I would definitely go back and spend more time there. Thank you!
